FAQ

Q: What is CrossWind like?
A: CrossWind is a growing congregation that exists to reach and develop people for God’s Kingdom. The goal is to fulfill Christ’s call to go and make disciples. This church will be ever changing to connect with modern people. Change will be a constant because effectiveness is not negotiable. The good news of salvation in Christ alone will be the one constant.

Q: When was CrossWind started?
A: We started on December 5th, 2004. We had 260 people there that Sunday. If you’ve never been to CrossWind but are still interested, come out to any of our Sunday services. We meet at 9:30 and 11:00 am at C & C Country Lanes Bowling Center in Dorr. This is located at the Hillcrest Mall.

Q: Where are new churches planted?
A: New churches are planted in quickly growing areas to reach this new population. The congregation will be located in a temporary facility until such time as the new body of believers is able to purchase land and build for themselves a new church home.

Q: Who plants new churches?
A: The United Methodist Church in West Michigan starts one new church per year. Experienced pastors are trained to become congregational developers.

Q: Where are we located?
A:CrossWind is located between US-131 and Dorr, MI. From US-131, go west towards Dorr, and CrossWind will be on the left (south) side of the road. We meet in the CrossWind Ministry Center. Our children also meet in the Ministry Center. The Ministry Centers address is 1632 142nd Avenue. Here is a map of where we are located as well.
